Broadwater has been awarded the highly coveted designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) by the M&A SOURCE. He is recognized nationally for his work with the IBBA, and in 2010, his peers honored him as a Fellow of the IBBA.

Janis Carrell joined Broadstone Capital, LLC after eleven years with a local independent business brokerage firm. Although she specialized in service companies, distributors and retail operations, she also successfully represented other independent businesses such as a window washing company with state contracts, a home improvement manufacturer and a commercial flooring company. Prior to becoming a business broker, Janis was active in marketing with both for profit and nonprofit organizations.
Janis earned her bachelors degree from Longwood University and her masters degree from the University of Richmond. Currently she serves on the Longwood University Foundation Board.

Wayne Geary is a graduate Mechanical Engineer and Certified Energy Manager with over 37 years of industry experience in engineered services for the building trades field with Johnson Controls, Robertshaw/Barber Colman, Siebe/Invensys. As a Senior Corporate officer, Wayne oversaw multiple North American business units in excess of $250 Million. His responsibility included numerous business acquisitions and disposals.
Most recently as founder and CEO of Dominion Energy Management, a local engineering and contracting firm, Wayne sold his business through Broadstone Capital.

Ron Hamway grew up in Virginia, spending his formative years in Richmond and Fredericksburg. After majoring in Business at the University of Maryland he embarked on a career in computer consulting as a Business Analyst. He worked for such sizable firms as RCA Service Company and General Electric Aerospace.
As an independent, he has contracted to such well known names as State Farm Insurance and AOL, but he also has a significant experience in both business and automation consulting for many small businesses from distributers to retailers.

Bruce Hobart entered the business brokerage field in 2002. He is a native of WV, holds a BA in Economics & Business from King College, Bristol, TN with continuing study at UVA, VCU, College of William and Mary, as well as the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. Bruce has 30+ years experience in private banking, commercial real estate finance, real estate appraisal, consulting and commercial sales/leasing. Additionally he has developed/managed in excess of 600,000 square feet of commercial real estate properties and owned several independent businesses. He has been a licensed real estate agent since 1974.

Alan Lanier has over 20 years of marketing research, business operations, and intellectual property (IP) transactional experience. His expertise focused on the commercial aspects of creating product value through customer driven R&D, licensing IP and acquiring technology through joint ventures. He has negotiated multi-million dollar deals and executed two joint international ventures: Laboratorios de Phoenix and Tanabe. At GlaxoSmithKline, he was granted eight Simply Better Impact Awards for outstanding performance where he worked with the cardiovascular R&D team, as well as country operations in Europe, North America and Japan to optimize product launches.
Alan was born in Amelia, VA, and holds a Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics from Virginia Tech where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy. Win Luther has been a full time, professional business broker since 1992. He was with the Virginia Chamber of Commerce for 25 years and served as the State Chamber's chief executive officer from 1981 to 1992. Win is a native of Southwest Virginia (Bluefield) and is a graduate of the College of William & Mary. He has lived and worked in Richmond since 1967 when he was released from the Army after a tour of duty in Viet Nam.

Bill Lebling utilizes his 25+ years of experience in sales and sales management to provide strategic advice to companies in a wide range of industries. His career has been with public and private companies where he has held management positions with increased responsibility and a focus on the banking industry. He received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Bill began his sales career with the NCR Corporation in Richmond, VA was transferred to the Washington, DC area and returned to the Richmond, VA area in 1992. He most recently was the Director of National Sales for a high-tech manufacturing company with $40MM in Sales. Additionally, he is an active volunteer in community organizations and a member of the Richmond Road Runners.
One of the keys to his business success has been his ability to identify the needs of his clients and to provide unique solutions to those needs.
